1. To scrutinise Use of Resources by Sussex Police, particularly against Local Policing Plan targets.
2. To oversee the preparation of the Local Policing Plan and the Budget.
3. To receive budget monitoring reports.
4. To scrutinise Force performance under Human Resources (including workforce modernisation), Information Systems, Estates and Procurement.
5. To consider risks identified that relate to this strategic element of business.

THE RESOURCES SCRUTINY COMMITTEEis a public meeting that examines Sussex Police Performance against targets within the Local Policing Plan covering areas such as Human Resources, Information Systems and Financial Management. It is also responsible for close examination of the Chief Constables budget proposals in advance of consideration of Council Tax Precept levies each year.
