1. To scrutinise the delivery by Sussex Police of Protective Services in Sussex, particularly against Local Policing Plan targets.
2. To consider risks identified that relate to this strategic element of business.
3. To oversee the work of Sussex Police in the field of Counter-Terrorism, including the Contest strategy.
4. To oversee the work of Sussex Police in the policing of ports and points of entry to Sussex.
5. To monitor Force performance against Sussex LAA targets that relate to the delivery of Protective Services.

THE PROTECTIVE SERVICES RESOURCE SCRUTINY COMMITTEE is a public meeting that examines Sussex Police Performance against targets within the Local Policing Plan that relates to the delivery of services known as Protective Services. These include Roads Policing, Protecting Vulnerable People, Serious and Organised Crime and investigating Major Crime.
