Peter Evans has been appointed as the new Lead Member for Human Resources. Peter Evans replaces Peter Bratton who has performed the role for the past couple of years.

Peter Evans, one of the Police Authority's elected members from West Sussex and Lead Member for Partnership Working takes on this very important role in his second year of being on the Authority.

Peter Evans said: "I am delighted to have taken on this role. As one of the biggest employers in Sussex the HR department of Sussex Police is a vitally important one, it is therefore of the utmost importance for the Police Authority to have good and proper scrutiny and oversight over this department."
