PARTNERSHIP WORKING

 

Sussex Police Authority is determined to lead the way to help get more out of partnerships in Sussex as all elements of the public sector seeks to defend service delivery to the public in a climate where public expenditure will need to be severely curtailed over the next five years.

The Chairman and Chief Executive of the Authority have also been meeting with every Council Leader and Chief Executive across Sussex in a further bid to strengthen relationships, discuss innovative ideas and improve working together.  The Authority is determined to align its capital spend with its partners and is working with Sussex Police to help realise that ambition. 

The Authority has appointed a Lead Member for Partnership Working, Mr Peter Evans.  Peter brings considerable expereince and energy to this improtant strategic ambition for the Authority in our continued drive to secure the very best value for money police service for Sussex .
