Every year the partnership looks at what it should focus on. We would like you to tell us your thoughts about what the priorities should be for keeping you safe in your local area, and throughout East Sussex. By 'your local area' we mean the area within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance from your home.

The East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership works together to make your community a safe place to live, work and visit by reducing crime, anti-social behaviour, and drug and alcohol problems in East Sussex.

Members of the East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership include East Sussex County Council, Sussex Police Authority, Sussex Police, Sussex Probation Service, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, District and Borough Councils, Primary Care Trusts and the five Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships.

Have your say

The partnership asked residents these questions from July to September 2009. Read what you told us about community safety in 2009.

We started the survey again on 1 February 2010 to get the views from those people who have not yet responded, and also the views of residents who previously completed the survey. We want to hear your thoughts again because your views about your local area may have changed over time. Please tell us what you think by completing our online survey:
