Solicitor to the Police Authority

Philip Baker joined East Sussex County Council as a solicitor in the Corporate and Democratic section in May 1999, having previously worked in private practice. In May 2004 he moved to the Legal Services Department , becoming a Senior Solicitor in 2007. On1^stApril 2010 Philip took up post as Assistant Director, Legal and Democratic Services, becoming the County Council's Monitoring officer and principal legal officer and Solicitor to the Police Authority.
