Dinah has come to the Police Authority from Sussex Police, where she worked for many years in the Diversity Team.

Dinah has had a very varied career, which has included wildlife conservation for the World Wide Fund for Nature; international marketing for a range of charities and translation work for a European engineering company. Dinah lived and worked in Switzerland for many years. She speaks French, German and Italian.

Dinah currently oversees the Professional Standards Committee, the Standards Committee and Misconduct hearings, and has responsibility for the Independent Custody Visiting Scheme and Independent CCTV Monitoring Scheme.
