Mr Godfrey Daniel

Godfrey Daniel has represented Hastings' Braybrooke and Castle ward on East Sussex County Council since 1997 as a Labour Councillor. As a member of Hastings Borough Council Godfrey served as Mayor of Hastings from 1998 - 2000, previously worked in local government as an officer for Lambeth Borough Council where he was Head of Pupil and Student Services and has also been a teacher.

He was appointed to Sussex Police Authority in July 2009.

Godfrey is a Justice of the Peace, and was a member of the Sussex Probation Board. Godfrey has two sons, is President of the Hastings Welsh Society and enjoys many musical interests in the Hastings area.
