Mrs Christine Swan

Before retirement Christine served as Chief Executive Officer for Sussex Associations of Local Councils and Assistant Chief Executive of Action in rural Sussex. This was a most rewarding post, bringing Christine into contact with many local councillors and voluntary organisations across the two counties of Sussex.

Liaison with County & District Councils and Sussex Police Authority also formed a major part of her tasks and she has therefore carried forward those interests into retirement in a voluntary capacity. Christine is the Chairman of the Standards Committee for Sussex police Authority. She has also served on Regional bodies such as OFWAT and SERCAF (South East Regional County Associations Forum).
