Born and bred in Sussex Bob Tidy is East Sussex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety. He represents Wadhurst and farms in East Sussex.
Bob was appointed to the Police Authority in June 2005. Bob represents the Authority on the Wealden Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and the East Sussex Strategic Partnership, Bob is also the Authority's Lead Member for Rural Affairs.
Married with four children Bob is a retired dairy farmer and is active in the National Farmers' Union and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Joint Advisory Committee.
Bob enjoys travel, reading, walking his dogs and spending time with his family and friends.
